Rub the fresh lemons with some salt and rinse them well with water. Using a sharp knife, start slicing the lemon at one end. Discard the first slice.
Cut the lemon into slices of equal size (neither thick nor thin),remove the seeds and add them to a bowl. LDrizzle honey over the lemon slices. Toss them gently to coat them well. Let the mixture stand for 10 minutes.
For Tea base
Use either jasmine tea leaves or bags. Add tea bags to hot water in a cup and steep the tea for 3 to 5 minutes.
Remove the tea bag and let the liquid cool to room temperature.
Assemble
Add ice cubes to a serving glass. Place some lemon slices around the cubes.
Drizzle lemon honey syrup from the bowl.
Pour in the cooled or chilled jasmine green tea. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.
Notes
The lemon honey mixture can make around 10 cups of drinks. You can also add warm water to make a lovely honey lemon tea or water in cooler days.
