Ingredients

Jasmine Tea Base

  • 1 tbsp. jasmine green tea
  • 1/3 cup hot water

Matcha Cold Foam

  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1.5 tbsp. warm water
  • 1 tsp. condensed milk
  • 2 tsp. matcha powder

Assemble

  • 1/3 cup coconut water
  • ice cube

Instructions

Steep the jasmine green tea

  • Add hot water to jasmine green tea. Steep for 4 minutes. Strain the tea base and set aside to cool down. My favorite way is to add ice cubes in to make it chill quickly.

Whisk matcha

  • Add 20ml warm water (around 55 degrees C) to matcha powder. Hold the whisk with one hand and use your wrist to whisk the matcha and water briskly in a “W” or “M” shaped motion. Set aside.

Whip the matcha cold foam

  • Pour the whisked matcha liquid into the cream, add condensed milk, and whip well with a milk frother until the mixture is thick and runny. The process should be around 10 to 15 seconds.

Assemble

  • Fill the serving glass with ice cubes, pour in the coconut water and jasmine green tea base. Top with whipped matcha cold foam.
