Instructions
Matcha latte
Put the matcha powder into a bowl. Add a little bit of hot (but not boiling) water. Use a matcha whisk to mix the matcha powder and water until it forms a smooth paste.
If you are using white sugar like me, add the sugar to the mixture and continue whisking it for a while until the sugar is dissolved. If you are using syrup, add it in the next step.
Iced version: Place enough ice cubes, then pour in the milk. Followed by the matcha mixture. You can also change the sequence for a different looking.
Warm version: Warm your milk on the stove or in a microwave until hot. Froth the milk until it’s foamy if you prefer a frothy latte. Pour the hot milk at the bottom, then top with the matcha paste on top. Stir until well combined.

Cook the boba pearls: Cook the boba according to the package instructions: Recommend using a half-cooking and half-resting method: cook the pearls in water for about 20 minutes, then let them rest for another 15-20 minutes. Transfer out and rinsing under running water to remove extra starch.
Mix the boba pearls with the preferred sweetener. Recommend honey or simple syrup.
