Ingredients

  • ice cube
  • 1/2 cup milk

Matcha liquid

  • 2 tbsp. matcha powder
  • 1-2 tbsp. hot water
  • 1/3 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp. white sugar optional

Pink Cold Foam

  • 1 tbsp. strawberry jam
  • 1/2 tbsp. red dragon fruit juice
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp. milk

Instructions

Whisk the Matcha

  • Add the matcha powder to a measuring cup, then pour 1 tbsp of hot water. Whisk until the matcha is perfectly blended and turns into a slight paste.Add another 1/3 cup of water and sugar. Hold the chosen with one hand and the bowl with the other to keep it steady. Whisk the matcha and water briskly in a “W” or “M” shaped motion. We must aerate the mixture until a layer of froth forms on the surface.

Pink Cold Foam

  • Add milk, strawberry jam, and red dragon fruit juice to the heavy cream. Adding a small amount of dragon fruit juice can make the color super dreaming with a lovely purple tone.
For a handheld frother, insert the whisk into the milk and turn it on, moving the frother up and down until you achieve the desired foam consistency. The process usually takes about 10 to 15 seconds.

Assemble

  • Add ice cubes to the serving glass, pour in milk, matcha liquid, finally top with pink cream.
