Recipe Note

If you prefer a darker color, choose ripe peaches with deeper-colored skin. However, if you get a peach with less red color, adding some red dragon fruit juice can help to improve the color.

Instructions

  • Peel the peach skin and cut the flesh into smaller cubes.
  • Transfer the peach to a pot and mix with sugar. Stir well. After coating with sugar, the peach will soften very quickly.
  • Then add water. Simmer for around 15 minutes until the water base absorbs the color.
  • Add the peach skin and water to a pot and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until the water base absorbs the color and the syrup reaches the desired thickness.
