A strawberry latte is one of my favorite latte drinks because it has a super cute appearance and a fruity taste. It combines the strong aroma and sweetness of strawberries with creamy milk.
I love to keep the strawberry as a smashed puree—what a messing look! Here, there is a bright red on the bottom, and the upper part is a gradient from brown to white. The whole thing looks like a red flower blooming in a desert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup latte coffee
- ice cube
- 2 tbsp. Strawberry Jam (you can use the homemade version or buy one bottom from the store )
- 1 tbsp. simple syrup
Instructions
Make strawberry jam
Remove the strawberry tips, wash, and drain the water. Pour the mixture into a clean, water-free, and oil-free pot, preferably a non-stick pot. Add the sugar, stir well, and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes until thickened, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
This recipe makes enough strawberry jam to serve one person for a long time. You can jar the extra strawberry jam while it’s still hot, invert it to insulate it from the air and store it in the refrigerator when it cools.
Assemble
Firstly, add 2 tbsp. strawberry jam to the serving glass. Use a spoon to spread the jam on the inside of the glass, making it messy-looking. Then, fill the glass with ice cubes until almost full.
After that, pour milk and extra syrup, if needed, into the glass.
Finally, pour in latte. Your strawberry latte is ready!
