Super easy homemade brown sugar matcha boba, a novice-friendly drink.
For me, matcha, milk, and brown sugar pearls are the three classic ingredients for milk tea. No matter how you combine them, you won’t go wrong.
This Brown Sugar Matcha Boba is made with these three ingredients. You can’t say no to this if you’re a matcha fan. The rich matcha flavor is paired with the smooth milk to create a rich and creamy texture.
You can enjoy the milk tea and the brown sugar flavor from the chewy boba pearls. Chewing the boba pearls adds an exciting twist to the milk tea experience.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp. matcha powder
- 1 tbsp. condensed milk
- 1 tbsp. jasmine tea
- 1/2 cup of hot water
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar boba
- ice cube
- 1/2 cup of milk
Instructions
Steep the jasmine tea
Add hot water to jasmine tea, steep for 5 minutes, then strain the liquid.
Whisk Matcha
Add matcha powder and condensed milk to a cup, pour the jasmine tea base, and stir it evenly with a stand whisker.
You can choose to whisk it longer, so there will be some light foams on top, making it looks similar to cold foam.
Assemble
Add brown sugar boba to the serving cup and an ice cube to fill the glass. Finally, pour the milk and matcha liquid.
It will have a lovely mess looking at the bottom and a great white and green color at the beginning. This brown sugar matcha boba has a deep, caramel-like taste due to the brown sugar and a lovely faint freshness bought by the matcha tea.
